I have not posted in a while, but I have a very good reason. About a week ago I embarked on one of the most important journeys in my life. I packed my bag and went on a plane across the atlantic, an eighteen year old by himself going to the United States where he will attend college for the next 4 years. Arriving here and settling in has taken quite some time. But now I am back and as hungry for posting as ever. So here is a poem:
I want her to be there
On the day
Of my wedding; I really
Want her to be there
Maybe she would see
Despite it all
That I am happy
I want her
To see me happy
I want her
To be jealous
I want her
To despise me
Oh God, how I want her
